As a Church School we celebrate a collective act of Worship every day. We are very proud of our Worship which takes place in the hall for whole school Collective Worship or in class for class Worship. We have a small altar, light candles, say prayers, join in with Bible stories, have reflection time and sing a hymn or song together. Rev Sue leads Worship for all children fortnightly and this takes place in All Saints’ church. We believe this gives our children a deeper understanding of Worship. Our children take an active role in Worship through drama, collecting and reading prayers and reading the selected reading for that Worship. We welcome parents and families in to share our MONDAY CELEBRATION WORSHIP every Monday morning at 9.05am.

At the beginning of each Worship we light three candles In the name of the Father, in the name of the son and in the name of the Holy Spirit. We also say part of our mission statement that all our children aspire to achieve each day “With FAITH, we learn. With LOVE we grow. With HOPE, we shine!”

Worship is such an important part of our lives at All Saints’. Our children say that Worship is a time to grow in faith and learn more about being a good Christian. We aim for our children to feel relaxed and confident to explore their own questions and learn more about God.

As a school, we work very closely with Appley Bridge All Saints' Church.  Fortnightly, on Wednesdays, Rev Sue Timmins leads the whole school in a service in church. In our worship, two Year 6 children lead us all in prayer.  At other times, services are held in school or in church that relate to the church  calendar. For example, Harvest Festival and Remembrance. Parents are always welcome to attend our school worship so please feel free to attend if you wish.
