Fantastic Book Awards
8 of our Year 6 children visited Preston today for the award ceremony of 'The Fantastic Book Awards'. Throughout Year 6 they have read 5 novels and then voted their favourite. Overall the winner was Spooksmith by Alex Atkinson. Thank you to Lancashire School Library Service for organising!
Y2 Lego Churches
Year 2 have been making Lego Church designs as part of their RE topic! We think we may have some future architects in Y2!

Year 3 Maths and RE
Year 3 had a wonderful afternoon yesterday using our gym equipment, learning how to tell the time in Maths and completing RE.
Year 4 Clay Tiles
As part of their art unit, Year 4 enjoyed experimenting with clay to carve clay tiles. Then, the children applied their knowledge to make an Egyptian sarcophagus. They can not wait to paint them!
Reception Good Samaritans
Reception have been GOOD SAMARITANS today! They have heard Year 6 have been very busy so have tidied their allotment up to lend a helping hand! What superstars!
SATS ARE OVER!
A huge well done to all our Year 6 children! They have well and truly blown us away this week with their attitude towards SATS and they have smashed them! We are all very proud of you!
