For the 8th year in a row our Year 6 children have taken part in the Archbishop of York Award. The award 'empowers our children to transform society'. The award focuses on developing children's faith, leadership skills and character. Children take part in sessions that include charity work, comparisons to poorer communities and walking in the shoes of others. We truly believe that the ward gives our children a wider view of the world and develops their compassion for those around them to help create a better world.
