A Warm Welcome to Reception Class
Mrs. Bullen-Hales and Mrs. Green are our Reception teachers this year. We have lots of fun learning through play and going on adventures where we enjoy learning in all areas of the EYFS Framework. We love taking our learning outside enjoying our beautiful outdoor provision and visiting the forest at school.
Our PE days are Tuesday and Wednesday (with Wednesday down in the forest). Homework will be set on a Tuesday and returned to school the following Monday. Children should bring in their book bags each day with reading books being changed weekly if the book has been read. Please sign the reading record to show when you have heard your child read. We recommend short bursts of reading practice frequently, rather than 1 long reading session per week. Children should read their book 3 times to develop fluency and comprehension.
